Today I am doing a review on the popular Jaclyn Hill Palette collaborated with Morphe. I’ve had this palette for a while now and I wanted to make sure I used every single shade before reviewing it, so I could give you the best review possible. Keep reading if you want my 100% honest thoughts on this eye palette.
Let me just tell you I totally bought this palette because I really love Jaclyn Hill, I have been watching her on YouTube for years and years! She is amazing at makeup plus when she first revealed her palette I was hooked with it. It looked absolutely gorgeous, so I knew I had to get it.
Packaging:
Jaclyn Hill’s eye palette comes in a white box. I lost the box, poor me 😟 The box has her name on it just like the palette itself. On the back it has 4 pictures of her and a bio of herself. The palette itself is white and has silver letters. It is made of cardboard. The packaging looks really chic; however, it can easily get dirty. If you look closely you can see mine one is a bit dirty.
Inside of the palette is silver. It has 35 shades; each pan has 1.9oz. of product.
On the inside top of the palette instead of a having a mirror she has a note to her subscribers. Yes, it’s cute, however mirror would have been handier. The palette comes with a card with each shade and its name. Again, that’s a little bit frustrating it would have been better if it was written under each eyeshadow.
The Shadows:
Like I said this palette includes 35 shadows. Ranging from neutral, warm and bright colours. Matte to Metallic.
Jaclyn worked so hard on this palette that it took her 2 years to release it. She went back and forth to the lab for the perfect texture, finish and naming the shades which are obviously personal to her life stories. I’m proud of her 😇
Swatches:
When I use the shadows on my lids I always use a primer and MAC Setting spray to make those metallic shades pop!
First Row: Englight, Beam, Silk Crème, M.F.E.O, Faint, Sissy, Little Lady
Second Row: Creamscicle, Butter, Pooter, Pukey, Hunts Firework, Queen
Third Row: Obsessed, S.B.N, Hillster, Roxanne, Jacz, Buns, Cranapple
Fourth Row: Royalty, Twerk, Hustle, Meeks, 24/7, Chip, Mocha
Fifth Row: Pool Party, Jade, Diva, Enchanted, Centra, Park, Soda Pop, Abyss
These shades are so pigmented!! Not just metallic but the mattes are super rich in colour and omg they aren’t patchy at all.
Price & Where to Buy:
This palette is 38 USD and can be found on Morphe’s website. If you are from Hong Kong you can get the palette from Instagram Shop: daily.shopaholic.hk. The price is so reasonable for the number of shadows in this palette. It’s an absolute steal! Tbh I would pay double for this.
Final Thoughts:
This palette is everything. The quality of these shadows are so brilliant. The mattes are super pigmented and gorgeous. The metallic are so smooth and almost wet with light reflecting particles. I’m obsessed with it. I used this palette during my stay in Pakistan after my wedding. I always grabbed this palette or Huda Beauty Rose Gold Remastered Palette for any of my eye looks. I think everyone, with ever skin color, eye color and hair color would find their perfect shadow in this palette. I can’t tell you how many compliments I received whenever I wore this. You need to get one for yourself to try out the amazing quality, consistency and color pay off. It changed my makeup game.
Yes, you can totally tell how much I love this palette! 🙈🙊🙉
