The Body Shop released the line called “Expert Facial Mask” which includes Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask, Ethiopian Honey Deep Nourishing Mask, Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask, Amazonian Acai Energising Radiance Mask, British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask and Japanese Matcha Tea Pollution Clearing Mask .

I have been using the Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask for over a year now. This is the only mask I have tried from this range, nonetheless I do want to try out the Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask next.

Product Details: It’s a creamy, facial exfoliating mask that refreshens and brightens skin. Ginseng is known for brightening, evening and revitalizing skin while removing unevenness and dullness. This mask is essential to smooth the skin, minimize pores and reduce imperfection (redness, scars, age spots).

How to use:  Must remove all of the Makeup and cleanse the skin properly before applying the Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask. Use the Facial Mask Brush or your fingers to smooth an even layer of the mask onto your face avoiding lip and eye area. Leave it on for 10 minutes then rinse off with warm water and a muslin cloth or use fingers in circular motions to gently exfoliate. Use 2-3 times a week.

My experience with The Body Shop Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask:

Chinese Ginseng and Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask comes in a brown glass jar with black lid with “The Body Shop” logo engraved on it. The name of the brand and the product is printed on the front of the brown glass jar. 

Chinese Ginseng and Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask is a brightening mask and it gives awesome results. I am super impressed. It feels super cooling on the face as well. I have acne scars which do not fade away easily, I have used many skincare products but this seem to show instant results. I am loving it. This mask made my skin so much clearer and smoother than any other masks that I have used. I must mention it doesn’t strip away your skin moisture at all.

This mask has a very unique consistency, it’s so easy to apply and it has a slight creamy texture with some scrub granules (it’s sooo gentleee). It also has a pleasant fresh scent. After applying it on face, its suggested to leave it on for 5-10 minutes and then wash it off, and that’s what I do. 

Since the mask has scrub granules, i gently rub on my nose and on my dry patches of my face to remove dead skin. After I remove the mask, my skin feels like a baby butt. It feels really bright and the skin tone looks super even. I could see results with one single use. When the mask is on your face it imparts a cooling effect, it feels super refreshing on the skin (especially on a long tiring day). My acne scars seem to have diminished with regular use. I don’t use this mask 3 times a week. I use it once a week only. Now it’s been over a year that I am using this mask. I can’t imagine not to have this mask in my skincare routine. Holy Grail product. I would repurchase it again and again without any pause and doubt.
